"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees....

"I stayed at the cabin for a solo trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. It was a convenient location to the parks and provided a cozy place to sleep the two nights I was there. It was clean and comfortable and everything I needed was provided. I didn't spend much time on the property during the day, but spent some time looking at stars in the clear night sky, listening to the quiet sounds of nature at the end of my day. "This is a charming property, and the owners were extremely communicative and helpful! It is relatively close to Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks at a great price point. The living room, dining room and bedroom are very comfortable. It is a 100 year old cabin, and the clawfoot tub and kitchen show their age. That being said, I found this to be a very comfortable stay, and the owners have thought of everything to provide a rich experience for guests who stay here ... from basic kitchen...
