"We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. "Wow we had a fabulous time! Check in was easy Rueben was very accommodating also letting us know we needed chains as upon our arrival they got about 3 feet of fresh snow! We also brought along our well trained mastiff and he had a blast, special memories for all. There was also a nice little memento for us which a very nice touch. The cabin is extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable - and the bit of quirkiness adds to a great experience (although the shower is indeed narrow! "Stayed during the winter season. Was easy to find and get in using the provided instructions. The cabin has all the modern amenities pictured and promised, but also maintains a very cozy and down-to-earth feel. Found everything we needed in the kitchen, and enjoyed the ambiance of having a fire in the wood stove although it isn’t necessary for keeping the place warm. Enjoyed our time and definitely would stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and spacious. Living room was big enough for all 7 of us to relax after skiing each day and the large smart TVs were perfect for watching games and movies. It was helpful to have use of the garage for parking and ski equipment. The check-in and check-out process was simple. I would definitely recommend this place and we look forward to staying there again. "

"The property was great and in clean condition. The home had all the amenities that were needed for a group of 15. There are three levels and master bedroom is on main level great for a less mobile person or couple. Down stairs had a shuffle board and the bedroom had a king sized bed with small heater / fireplace that kept it warm. Up stairs is were all the kids slept and they had a great time playing pool. There was plenty of firewood and propane. No need to bring sleds or lake toys they had it...
