"Great place for families or groups of friends. Pros: * The three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms * Big kitchen table * Nice layout where everyone can be together downstairs or go upstairs for some separation. Cons: * Couch was a bit old and not super comfortable, but not bad overall. * Internet was kind of slow and sometimes seemed stop altogether. Was a little bit of an issue when trying to do some video calls."

"The building is over 100 years old, so sloping floors are expected! That’s part of the charm! Peter has updated the house, so it’s functional and really comfortable. We enjoyed the time in Tollhouse."

"The communication and hospitality from the host was impeccable! The neighbors were friendly and helpful and we had access to so much that made the stay enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to add curtains to the front windows (there were field trip kids that passed by a few times a day and waved in - which was delightful! once I realized that I should probably put on a robe :/) We will definitely stay again - thank you!! "This property is a lovely rustic place with hiking trails and a beautiful creek! It is very close to Kings Canyon and the cabin is charming with an updated modern kitchen. We enjoyed our stay!"

"This cabin is so cozy and homey. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils to cook easily. Mahalia was very responsive and helpful if there were any questions or concerns during our stay. The sauna was a nice added bonus as well as being able to walk out back and look up at the stars at night. We enjoyed the quiet, seclusion this cabin provided and had no issues getting to and from the national parks to explore during the day....

"This VRBO-makeover is nicely appointed, spacious (sleeps 6 or more!) and conveniently located near the middle of town. Don't plan on using the "carport" unless you're driving a pickup truck or SUV. Access to carport is via a one-lane asphalt alley that has a steep dropoff. Alternative: park on the shoulder of Hwy 168 and schlep your bags up 15 stairs. "
