"Puerta Azul is a quaint boutique style hotel with private little cabins. They have a nice restaurant and provide breakfast every morning. Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly. Location is quiet and away from the crowds of the West End. If you want to go anywhere, they provide transportation. The best part was snorkeling right off the dock. The reef was full of coral and fish. They also had free paddle boards and kayaks and you can rent snorkel equipment for $10 for the whole week....

"We spent a week at this delightful property. We enjoyed breakfast daily, friendly and helpful staff and the opportunity to visit with Myrna there guests. This was a great location near West Bay activity, but a couple of blocks off the beach on a gravel road which made this a quiet retreat. We loved the place and would certainly stay here again if we return to Roatán"

"It was a unique small resort that was beautifully landscaped, felt a little like you were in the jungle. It was quiet off the beaten path. We felt very safe. "We loved our time here! Sandy bay is the best. We very much dislike the crowds of west bay/end. Sandy bay is so calm and peaceful and you feel like you are integrating among the locals.
