"My stay at this property was wonderful! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the property itself is beautiful. While the rooms have a slightly outdated brown interior, they are still very cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. There was one issue regarding the premium liquor included in my package. The hotel’s website advertised brands such as Patrón and Don Julio, which influenced my decision to book. However, when I attempted to order these at the bar on my first day, I was informed that they were not included. After seeking clarification from the front desk the following day, I was told that premium liquor was indeed part of the package. Despite this, the bar staff continued to deny my request. It was only after speaking with the bar manager and showing the website’s advertisement that the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, the bar staff seemed reluctant to provide premium liquor for the remainder of my stay. Aside from this, my trip was excellent. The hotel’s location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. Additionally, they offer a convenient store where guests can use a credit card to receive cash back in either USD or Honduran currency. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel."

"We loved our time here! Sandy bay is the best. We very much dislike the crowds of west bay/end. Sandy bay is so calm and peaceful and you feel like you are integrating among the locals. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. We loved the pool, kayaks and sunsets on the beach! We drank coffee on the porch every morning and absolutely loved the greenery and privacy. The house was just perfect for us. We walked over to Sandy bay divers and had several great dives. I am already day dreaming about returning to this sweet little slice of paradise!"
