"The hotel was clean, warm but dated. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The fact that there was no restaurant meant no meal or breakfast but the staff advised me of lovely alternatives. I believe the hotel has just changed hands so probably just getting things organised and i hope it works for them."

Breakfast was perfect and there was a wonderful choice. Location is very convenient for all amenities and for using as a base for any visit to Lerwick and indeed mainland Shetland and the islands."

"A nice hotel with very helpful staff. Some minor issues on our arrival which were sorted out immediately. The problem was with Expedia booking, not the hotel. Absolutely perfect for our visit which was for a business trip. We will definitely go back next time we are in Shetland."

"We had a lovely big room Yell overlooking the garden. The hotel was peaceful and quiet even though there were some big groups staying. Always plenty of hot water and heating which was needed after being in the cold winds at Shetland. Staff very helpful and polite - they helped us book ferries to Yell and Unst. Breakfast and dinner very plentiful - too much for me at times but you can ask for a half portion. Lovely lounge to relax in on an evening. Highly recommend and we hope to be back at...
