"My friend and I came to the area for birding in the Chiricahuas. We stayed at valley vista and it was a perfect spot for everything we wanted to do during our stay. Would definitely recommend it."

"After doing a lot of searching and reading we selected this property largely because of the number of good reviews. They were not wrong. This is a very special place that was completely built by the hosts. Everything you need for your stay other than food and clothes are provided should you choose to use them. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, coffee, condiments, and all of the equipment you might need to prepare your meals. Welcoming you is a bottle of local wine, a loaf of banana bread and some fresh eggs. The house is nicely laid out with plenty of space. Three bedrooms and two baths. Especially nice are the very large front and back yard patio spaces where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and a cocktail at night while we watched the wildlife. Deer and turkeys were the most frequent visitors. We also enjoyed interacting with the rescue horses on the property. It is super quiet and really dark at night. You'll see more stars than you can imagine. Cell service here is poor at best but the Wi-Fi is strong and we had no trouble communicating with our computer, phones and using the TV's in the living room and bedroom. (we didn't use the TV's much because it's so delightful outside) The hosts live a short distance away on the same property. They are a wonderful couple who will do anything to make your visit pleasant. Hopefully you will get a chance to chat with them as they have amazing backgrounds. We felt like we were visiting old friends. Can't wait to go back!"

"We loved our stay on this peaceful ranch. Great location away from everything, yet so close to Chiricahua NM and the Coronado NF. We really enjoyed all the birds around, especially all the owls at night. Jim's collection of relics and rocks were fantastic too. We enjoyed chatting with him. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!"

"Having all our kids and grandkids together, away from all the chaos of the world, for a few days, really was a piece of heaven. The wide open space was perfect for the kids who love to run and play outdoors. There was plenty of space in the 3 houses to meet everyone's needs. The 2 kitchens helped us to easily keep everyone fed! This is a beautiful property for a large group of people."
