"Lovey eco lodge really working with the environment. Fabulous staff, couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely breakfasts, healthy locally sourced dinner buffet and tea and coffee all day long. Tours on offer were great too- we did the bird walk and saw so much that we would have missed! Rafting with Rios fabulous. Yes the rooms are a little basic but all in keeping with the ethos of the place. You will not be disappointed!"

"If I could, I would have stayed longer in this establishment. The pictures and description does not do justice to this amazing place. The rooms are old but in reasonable state, and they are clean. "Our room was very spacious and on the first floor. We even had a balcony at the other end of the room. The pool was small and a disabled person in our party could not get in it because there were no handrails. The setting was up in the mountains north of Alajuela and the air was fresh at night. We will return to this hotel because it is not far from the airport."

"We stayed 3 nights at Finca Vibran. The grounds and flowers are gorgeous and the views of the valley are amazing. Our room was very nice and comfortable. My only issue is that it was very warm in our room and only a small bathroom window for ventilation. Our only other option was to open our door at night (not worried about our safety at all) but the issue was bugs. There is mosquito netting over the bed, but I don't want to let all those bugs into our room. Lots of bugs anyway--beetles...

"My family of 5 loved this home! We stayed just two nights after staying near Manuel Antonio and then La Fortuna so we could visit the Blue Falls and have a short drive back to SJO - and then wished we could stay longer. The home is very well stocked, has several cute sitting areas, and is perfect for bird watchers. We really enjoyed a dinner in that the neighbor prepared for us. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations!"
