"Poas Volcano Lodge is a place that leaves you with lasting memories! From the incredible surroundings to the stunning interior that provides a “I wish this were my home” feel. We really enjoyed relaxing and reading our books in one of the several sitting areas. The wood burning stove added an extra warmth to the experience. The hiking trails right at the property were enjoyable. Having to navigate around the cows just added to the experience. We also enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner we had here. You could tell that they use fresh and locally sourced ingredients for the meals."

"Neat place to stay, pool was on the cooler side for us so we lounged more around, the grounds were nice and well maintained. We used to do the central location to go to the poaz and then to Grecia and other surrounding areas, made a very comfortable home base for us!"

"This was one of the most incredible stays we’ve ever had. The views, location, and scenery were breathtaking, and the room was both beautiful and practical. We stayed in the King Suite overlooking the valley, which also had a small rooftop area offering an even more stunning vantage point. From the suite, we could see donkeys and cows roaming below, which only added to the charm and natural beauty of the setting."

"Lovely rooms set on raised platforms in the forest, verandas all around for watching the birds. Guided walks all around the forested property. Dinner was an ample buffet as was breakfast. Lovely stream rushing past our rooms. Idyllic. "
