"I believe 4 pm check in is too late. Faucet in king bathroom flooded the counter and ran onto the floor before we noticed. The light switch by the fridge shocked me. The lighting in kitchen blinked on and off. Never was able to use the TV "

"We selected this stay because we could walk to Gruene Hall. We purchased tix to see Lyle Lovett many months ago and were somewhat concerned about weather. Never dreamed it would be sunshine and 80 degrees! This location was great! We didn’t have to worry about parking which was perfect since everybody in Texas came to Gruene this weekend! The space was as described, clean, no issues at all. Thank you!"

"Stairs being a problem, first floor lodging was perfect… Lovely view of the river, especially since the trees were denuded all foliage, but winter has its charms too at Sunset. First day we saw two young foxes and two deer, obviously obviously not walking together, but on the hillside just below the patio, so encouraged that wildlife is still more or less disturbed and abundant in spite of heavy development. Everything within walking distance for two old timers and our mini Labradoodle Pepper....
