"Orlando and his family are such a beautiful hearted family. The animal experience and getting to know how the farm is worked was great. The class on how to make cheese, empanadas,bread and tortillas by Yolanda was amazing. We enjoyed so much that we cooked all day. The laughs will be remembered for life. "The farmhouse is OK. Host is very friendly and helpful. But the second night we didn't have hot water at all and found a pretty big scorpion and a tarantula on the wall and on the ceiling."

"Our stay was a return to traditional Costa Rican farm life as it has been for generations. As a Costa Rican/ US family we really enjoyed our stay. We had a wonderful host in Don Carlos. He was kind and helpful. The children loved the horses, cows, ox cart, goats, dogs, pigs, chickens .... well you get the picture. "This upper level of a two-story condo has such a beautiful tree house feel. We loved all the windows and jungle sounds. It was clean and well-equipped and we didn't hear any noises from the neighbors around us. Beds were very comfy. A lovely 15-minute drive back into Monteverde. It felt secluded without feeling isolated and is near many options for tours of all kinds. Highly recommend!"

"The property and experience were unforgettable. It all started with the most hospitable and helpful host, Emel. He made us feel welcome and even helped us get pizza delivery to the glamping tent. The tent is immaculate and the perfect window to the amazing greens and blues that mark the gorgeous horizon. The bathrooms and showers were flawless and kept you integrated with nature.
