There is fun wildlife all around the property, all able to be viewed while having breakfast! However, We didn't like that this was a zip lining property, on the surrounding hiking trails there were many cables strangling large beautiful trees and noisy construction due to zip line maintenance. "This place has the most beautiful views of Arenal and the surrounding forest. We were able to see Tucan, Vultures and one other animal with our naked eyes. Such a beautiful place to stay. Last but not the least, the host Sergio. He is the sweetest Jentlemen I ever met. He has the best recommendations and offers help even in the middle of the night. Next time I visit, I will not have a second thought about making a reservation here just because of views and Sergio."

"This is place to be in if you are a nature lover. This place is so serene and peaceful. The staff especially, Emel and Carlos took care of us so dearly. We felt as if we are home and they really took care of whatever we need. However, you need all wheel drive to get to Monteverde and also to this Hotel. That was the only hiccup we had. Once we reached there, it was very fabulous experiece. "

"Lovely clean place, lovely staff and away from the street sounds. But the stairs to my room were really steep and the mattress was the old spring type. I just couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep on it. I managed to put my pillows in a line to sleep a bit. The weather was perfectly cool even with the late afternoon rain. For transportation, walk to the City Central and get a taxi there because It's cheaper that way. (No Uber so far away from city). I had a lovely short stay. "
