"The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from downtown. There are some homeless people in the area, but there seem to be homeless people in all areas of Guadalajara so it's chill. There are some good and affordable dining options less than a five minute walking distance for the frugal traveler. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. We had no issues during our stay. My mom and I walked around almost everyday and it was cool. Also... it seems like in all areas of Guadalajara (including in front of the hotel) there are people asking for money. You can just tell them no and it's usually chill. While we were waiting for an uber in front of the hotel, there was a guy who approached us twice and I thought he was going to rob us but he just asked for money again My mom gave him some because she wanted him to leave her alone. The wheel chair ramp may not always be accessible during all times of the night because sometimes people sleep there."
