"I was disappointed to find out that this hotel was tucked away in an awkward location. I read that it was a 15 min walk from the leaning tower of Pisa but it is actually a 15/20 minute drive instead. There is a bus stop fairly close by that tou can walk to but this only runs once an hour. The rooms are very basic but this is expected for the price however they are clean and comfortable. "This was one of the better places we have stayed. The view is amazing, the staff was great, and the place made the trip a great time."

"Worst place I stayed in Italy. I wouldn't call it a Hotel, looked more like an unused building with an interesting history. It is in a very remote area with no transport facilities. One has to rely on taxi or cycles! It had bed and shower facilities, that's all. No restaurants, cafe or shops nearby. There was a very old looking broken drinks machine. Felt like the owner made no effort to make it look appealing to customers. Very disappointed. "

"The hotel is clean, cozy, and in an historical building. Location is great and close to train station and centre. Staff are friendly. The hotel is generous, they give 1 bottle of still water and 1 sparkling for each person. Breakfast is fabulous with many selections. Wall is thin and you can hear people talk next door. Heater is luke warm so I had to use AC, and AC has noise when operating. But these are not problem, given bed is so comfortable and quilt is warm, so I felt asleep quickly. Overall, given its unbeatable winter price and the services received, I give the hotel 9.5/10 and would like to thank for their hospitality. "
