"There were no surprises when we arrived and checked out the house. It was very thoughtful that there were some food items for our arrival. Everything worked fine and the owner was responsible for a couple of maintenance issues. The yard lights did not come on the last two nights and we missed them. Getting around the area by walking is a little sketchy because the roadway is narrow. We found the ferry stop 10 minutes from the house very convenient."

This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is."

"We had a great time. The house was charming and very comfortable. It is convenient to restaurants coffee shops and the grocery store are all within walking distant. The house was spacious and very nice. Typical European layout. I would definitely stay here again. Como is so beautiful. Blows Hawaii away. Sorry Kapalua, Maui you are now #2 in my heart. Although Sansei Restaurant in Maui is the best restaurant in the world hands down."

"We had a magnificent stay in this villa in Varenna! This villa is perfect for a family, we were 4 adults and had lots of room to spare. It is centrally located, the furniture was very comfortable, not only the beds, but the living room area, as well. Die großzügigen und sehr schön renovierten Zimmer haben zudem genug Rückzugsmöglichkeit geboten. Die Gegend ist gut zum Sightseeing, wandern, spazieren geeignet und Annone selbst angenehm weg vom großen Tourismus am Comer See."

"This was our second stay in this beautiful villa and we enjoyed our stay even more since we were familiar with the area. It is located near enough to tourist-busy Bellagio, but far away enough that it is relaxing and quiet. The villa is beautiful and nicely furnished; the owner responds quickly and is welcoming. "Excellent location with lovely views. We visited late September and could find sun in the garden, when it shone, anytime of the day. The villa is well equipped. The lift was a bonus getting suitcases upstairs. The pool is small but well maintained. Beds were comfortable. Rubbish removed regularly . We enjoyed the games room in the basement."

"There’s no question it’s a beautiful home overlooking Lake Como, with a charm that is remjniscent of something out of a Harry Potter novel. Unfortunately, the home itself self has a fair amount of deferred maintenance. Lightbulbs were burned out in master bathroom, the door handle on the washing machine was broken, certain shutters didn’t work, there is no air conditioning in any room and some of the wiring is unlikely to be up to code, although I dont know that for sure.
