"Jaada was wonderful as was Andrea and the other woman with dark hair at the front counter (I'm sorry I can't remember her name, she was French). I had a bit of a problem with my room, leaking pipes left the carpet wet around the tub but Andrea helped with that. One day used pillow cases were left on my suitcase, no coffee was left and the toilet brush and plunger were left on the toilet. She must have been in a hurry that day. "

"It’s an economical hotel with basic amenities. However, for what it is, it does a great job. The hotel is older with tons of character. Despite that, it is very maintained. I wish hotels in the US could follow their strategy. Basic in my home country (USA) usually means dirty and unkept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Note that front desk has limited hours. The hotel is in an ideal location. It’s a safe area with a lot going on nearby. It’s a 15-20 minute walk from the main Florence train station (Santa Maria Novella). The Duomo is about the same distance. The Ponte Vecchio is about 8-10 minute walk. I would stay at this hotel again with zero reservations. "

"We wish we spent our whole trip here! It’s absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast and drinks on the patio are unbeatable. Staff was friendly, comforting and accommodating to every one of our needs, including calling a taxi, an early check in when I wasn’t feeling well etc. Excellent stay! "

"This property was, darling, safe and quiet; easy to find, easy in and out, easy check in! The owner, Clodi , could not have been more thorough and accommodating during my stay. She was pleasant and attentive at all times. The attendant for the room was available daily And took great care of the property. The bed was the most comfortable that I had during my seven weeks day in Florence. I had several accommodations throughout the city during my stay and this one was the highlight of all of them. The courtyard was very sweet, The room was well appointed. I had one of the private rooms not the apartment and so my situation was kind of like a hotel room but much better! I would absolutely recommend clodi’s rooms and I will definitely stay with her again! Completely delightful! Thank you, clodi!"
