"Fabulous stay at Belmond Monasterio! Check in was easy and the staff were personable and professional. We felt welcomed and valued as a client. Our room was upgraded to a suite with a semi-private courtyard. Fabulous room. Great amenities in room. Music in the bar in the evening with a wood fire burning. Dinner in hotel was good. Breakfast had good variety and quality. Staff is wonderful. They go out of their way to be helpful. Tea station available all day. Oxygen in room helped with altitude....

"This is a beautiful hotel. The climb takes a bit of getting used to when you first arrive and need to acclimatize to the altitude. But it’s a cheap taxi up and a quick walk down. Good breakfasts"

"We loved staying at Hotel Arqueologo for the first stop of our honeymoon. We loved our room with a balcony facing the garden. The breakfast was wonderful and had a picture perfect view. They have filtered water available to drink and it was a godsend to not have to buy bottled water the whole time. We even filled our bladder with the water for hikes.
