"Great views of the lake. The property had a very good vantage point. We came in a car but I guess if you came by boat it would be a little difficult. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our one night stay."

"Perfect location - close to train station and ferry dock. Balcony looks into main intersection when you arrive in Varenna. Construction is finished on the main level. Maybe a safe and fridge may be good additions."

"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and for us, it was a perfect stop to explore the area. If you are looking for full a service hotel, it's not for you but as we weren't, it's easy relaxed feel was just right. Complimetary tea/coffee/cake is in reception, you can have as many cups as possible and we enjoyed the croissants in the morning. A very nice lounge area with a pool table and a small shop to buy drinks, alcohol and other snacks is available. To eat there is a restaurant across the road and hotel residents get a discount, we enjoyed the choice there, self service style but lots to choose from. The staff were super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble"
