"House is lovely. Walk to.the beach isn't hard, though does have a minor hill over the dunes but nothing that isnt expected for the area. Overall, a great place to stay."

"We went to OBX for Christmas week for a peaceful and romantic getaway. We wanted plenty of room and a well equipped kitchen. We were not disappointed. Everything we needed to make prime rib and steaks and so many other great things was provided for us. The house is beautiful and when you step into the main living area you feel like you are home. The house was immaculate, the furnishings are comfortable and stylish and there are cozy spots everywhere. This was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. We would go back in a heart beat. We took a lot of stuff with us in case we needed it and ended up leaving it in the car because the house was so well stocked. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Loved it!!!"

"We were just here for a little weekend get-away before Christmas. The house is as advertised. It feels like staying at your friends well-loved beach house. The view is beautiful, you are close to everything and there is plenty of room for kids (and the dog) to relax. While it has almost everything, there wasn’t a microwave, which was a bit of a surprise. The sandspurs are abundant, so shows outdoors are a must. We would definitely stay here again. "

"All of our family members set aside a few days to celebrate their birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas at a special location with amazing adventures planned. This year we met in Avon NC! The VRBO we stayed in was absolutely perfect for us and everyone loved it!! We caught 2 sharks surf fishing and had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner and celebrated our December birthdays and Christmas exchanges! Would 100% recommend this VRBO to all active families!! "Wonderful stay! Awesome property! Perfectly clean! Would give it 10 stars if that were an option. Very comfortable with all the amenities needed for a marvelous stay. Beautifully decorated. Fantastic view. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the pelicans, cormorants, and gulls as well as the jumping mullet. Mike is an excellent host! This is our second time staying at Mariner's Terrace. Definitely would stay again. "

"A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. "

"Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again. "
