"Quick weekend visit, not sure i've ever been to a hotel where the staff have been more friendly. It was as if it was a long lost family reunion. The building is oldish and characterful in a good way. Our room was lovely and quiet, spacious too. I was going to give the bed a 5 star rating but then i thought i had to find something to criticise, the only thing was i heard a twang from a bed spring, that was it, perfect night's sleep apart from a "twang". I can heartily recommend this place to stay. It was lovely. Oh, and it's so convenient to town too."

"The hotel oozes character with timbered walls, wonderfully wonky floors and beautiful vaulted ceiling bedrooms. The large bed was very comfy. It was quiet and a pleasant 10-15 min walk mostly through the Cathedral grounds to the city centre. I’d definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and it’s friendly staff. "

"Great location, right in the town centre. Good sized room and the bed was comfortable. Pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and good portion size. My only critique would be there is no mirror at the vanity desk and the one in the bathroom was not in the light. "

"Loved staying here. Fantastic from the start. On check in we were given a warm greeting at Hettie Bells, where you check-in, (they kindly allow free bag storage before the afternoon check in) and the complimentary homemade cookies were a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated on the cold November day. Room lovely decorated, fresh feeling and nice ensuite bathroom. Room not spacious but a big double bed, tv, chair and hangers for clothes, what more do you need. We slept well, nice and quiet. Breakfast was a buffet at Hettie Bells a minute up the road. Hettie Bells is the railway cafe so would advice its not that warm in there in winter so wear a coat but that didn't take away from how much we enjoyed our breakfast there. Big yummy bacon butties, and the yogurt museli was really very good. The lady 'Red' who served us was so welcoming and friendly. It was easy to walk to all the places we wanted to see in Salisbury and perfect for catching the Stonehenge bus, just a couple of minutes away from Caboose. We would definitely return to this lovely hotel."
