"Usually the cheapest place in Salida and it is good value for money. My main criticism is that the room we were given has a connecting door to the adjoining one which is great if you're next to friends or family, but not good if you're next to a noisy guest because you'll hear everything going on next door!"

"The Super 8 was very clean and the facility itself is very cozy. The staff was very pleasant too. I wish their tv was a little bigger for the size of the room. The sheets were paper thin, so it was hard to stay warm without having to blast the heater. The heater/AC is very dated and need to be upgraded."

"Cute place. Nice update and remodel without destroying all the great things about this type of classic motel, beginning with no stairs to climb. Just unload your car. The room was clean but an alcohol wipe on the TV remote might have gotten a tiny bit of grime off. Blackout shades would be a useful update. Like all places, it needs an over-the-air TV antenna so guests can watch local TV (not sure how well that works in mountain towns, though). I’m no fan of Hulu. "

"We had the best time here. Skied in Breckenridge day one and monarch on day two. Day three was the train ride in leadville. Skiing was great and the train ride was so fun. The loft was perfect. Right in downtown and we could walk to great restaurants in town. All the cute shops are great and everyone is so friendly. Our last night was new years eve and the city had a block party and it was rocking! What a great place to spend with someone you love. Happy new year!"
