"My husband and I stayed at the Amigo Motor Lodge last weekend and had a mostly pleasant experience. We loved that it’s pet-friendly, and the decor was absolutely charming. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, which we appreciated. However, there were a few downsides: the bathroom fan was broken, the TV didn’t have channel access, and we found some trash left behind by previous guests. While we understand it’s a budget-friendly, 2-star motel and adjusted our expectations, these issues...

"This is a great non-chain motel/hotel option in Salida. The rooms have been refreshed with great updated bathrooms! There were apparently satellite troubles when we were there and the front desk didn't know how to reset the TV so we had no TV - either for the evening or the next morning. This also seemed to slow down WIFI or WIFI was just a bit slow. Overall would be happy to try them again. "

"The property was recently sold and i feel they were not quite ready for quest .amenities were poor .The room was quiant but there were no hangers or alot of space to put things .This property has great potential. The new owners were working daily on improvements .The closest dining is in salida which is about 15 minutes from the property."
