"Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). "The house was very cozey, and convenient location. However the communication between the hostes and I were poor. As I was only told as that we need to bring our own towels and linen for bedding after we had arrive and I asked where it was!!! Very inconvenient trying to find these items in a small town, let alone after 7pm also!! Other then that, it's a lovely place to stay!!"

"We stayed at this chalet with 10 guys and had an amazing time. The views are great driving can be a bit challenging, climbing the mountain but we are happy that we had a car as this small town had only very few stores. The house is nice and clean but not big. "Lots of room to hold a large group. Good location as you can travel throughout Switzerland within a reasonable drive. Quite the drive up the mountain through the narrow and winding streets if you aren’t used to it but all worth it! So close to the village of Nendaz which had lots to offer. Great host- super cooperative and responsive to questions. Can’t beat the views!"

"We celebrated a big birthday with a family get together; we were 17 people, all ages and ALL enjoyed their stay. The property was perfect; The rooms were great and very clean. it had everything we needed. Marco (host) went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. "Die Lage des Chalets ist hervorragend: ruhig, tolle Sicht, Nähe zur Seilbahn und zum Loslaufen. Man kann auf zwei Ebenen (Balkon und Veranda) draußen sitzen und genießen! Die gesamte Ausstattung des Chalets ist jedoch etwas bescheiden, allerdings ist dies auch dem wenigen Platz geschuldet. Es fehlt ein Kleiderschrank, der Fernseher steht etwas unglücklich am Fußende des Bettes, in der Küche wäre eine Kaffeekanne und ein Stopfen für das Spülbecken schön. "This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."
