"We were delighted when we pulled into the gated home. Although we came in February, you could definitely see this is a majestic place. Our host did all she could for us, giving suggestions on places to go and even offering to get us there at one point. We enjoyed our stay and would give Al’s attic a five star. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Brackenridge House Bed & Breakfast. Lily was our Host and she was very accommodating and friendly. The room was lovely - furnished well and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and the bedding was so comfy and cozy! We never moved our vehicle - everything we wanted to do was in walking distance: Riverwalk, Alamo Street. We hope to return very soon. "

"Nice and quiet place for our girls trip. The property is well maintained, clean, and very accommodating. The couple that owns it is very nice and personable. Would for sure stay here again!"

"Check-in took forever due to new keyless entry system which did not work (they had to give us a key). Also, they have discontinued the morning breakfast basket so had to go out to get food. Does have some historic charm but some has been replaced with advertising. Several items in room in need of repair."

"The apartment was great. Nice and clean with much more room than a hotel. The complex was quiet, and there were stores and restaurants in the area. It was a third floor apartment though with no elevator so if you cannot climb the you may want to reach out to see if they have a ground floor unit."
