But be aware that a big apartment complex is being built next door, with trucks and caterpillars starting to rumble around shortly after 7 in the morning. You should also know that the dirt road leading to the property can be difficult to pass with a regular vehicle after heavy rain."

"Estrella del Norte was just that. An amazing stay, the villa was in great condition. Nina was beyond fantastic with her service and her cooking. She went above and beyond for everything. We would def stay here again. I do suggest that if you go in the wetter or colder month to have a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are not the best and the location of the house has a few steep slopes. If traveling in a large group it’s best to have 2 vehicles since the weight also impacts the drive up hill. As for the...

"The villa was just like in the pictures. The communication process throughout the stay and registration with the owner assistant Franceska was great. The villa Host Samuel and his wife Marie were amazing, attentive to what we needed, and welcoming. Everything about our stay was great no complains, although coming up to the villa was a bit of a journey but worth it."

"Love this place. It may seem small but it has everything it needs!! Fully surrounded by trees and nature, and there’s even a little river close by. There is hot water, and also an included breakfast, loved this since I didn’t have to worry about waking up and trying to come up with something to eat. If he food was really good. "This property is a nightmare, terrible condition, no power back generator. The point contact disappeared on me and let me and my family to struggle with no electricity overnight. Mind you I had 8 month baby and I mentioned to the point contact that via message asking for help and he read my messages and ignore me asking for help. This property just wants your money and leaves you to stranded and struggle. I hope Expedia shuts this place down, I wouldn’t recommend this place not even to my worst...

"The house is gorgeous and the setting spectacular. It is near restaurants and bars right in the beach path. Rooms were comfy. But the beds are Full not Queen. The only Queen/King bed is in the master suit. The kitchen is not as updated as it should. It could use some love. The staff is amazing. Always there to help. The area has different outings and adventures. We loved it!! Thank you Teresa and Lola. We loved Casa Ana!!"
