"We were informed when we checked in that the best rooms were reserved for those that booked directly with the hotel. We were given a wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor, which was okay. The bar in the hotel was disappointing as the layout was poor, big sofas grouped in the middle of the bar area. The restaurant and service were excellent and highly recommended. Because this is an old hotel it doesn’t have modern refineries."

"My deluxe suite room, with spa bath, was just lovely. The view from the deck was of lovely trees, and you could see birds playing on the lawn. The whole room was spotless and furnishings were new and comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. The staff very friendly and helpful. Only 2km to Kerikeri shops and the weekend market was in walking distance. Would recommend."

"The staff at the motel were so helpful, we were running late and the reception was kept open for us which we really appreciated. The room was clean and the facilities ideal for the short stay we had there. The motel is within walking distance to all the amenities in the small town "

We chose this place because it offered air conditioning and we were not disappointed. The towels were a bit like sandpaper though. Great for exfoliation! Our host was lively and helpful and welcoming. "
