Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. "The house itself is good, comfortable, and fairly reflects the listing, with ample space for a large house party. However, our otherwise enjoyable experience was let down by the lack of attention to detail, in terms of house-keeping and maintenance/repair. When paying a top-end price (about 7k for 4 nights) it was disappointing that several lights did not work (including bathroom lights, dining room main light, bathroom mirror light), the Aga never got up to cooking temperature even after 4 days...
