"We rented Barebones to celebrate my father in laws 80th Birthday. We were a party of 11. The house was beautiful, clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our group. We had a lovely weekend and wouldn't hesitate to book again. I don't really have anything else to say because it was just perfect! "

"Fantastic stay, the house was perfect and stunning scenery right on the doorstep (albeit the fog tried to ruin it). Our first Christmas at a neutral location, took some planning but it worked out very well, the kitchen was great with all the equipment you could need. Loved the Aga too. "Beautiful kitchen with woodburner, great for when dogs got wet. Amazing lounge with panoramic views over the valley, also with woodburner. Two beautiful bedrooms with large comfy beds. The Retreat is really lovely, even better than photographs!"

"This has to be the best place to stay in Cheltenham. It is clean, comfortable, roomy and stunning. It is the little touches that make this accommodation stand out over all the other places I have stayed. "

"Perfect central location with complimentary parking. We stayed in the deluxe room with the bath which was lovely and spacious over two floors. It was modern, high-end finishes, clean and well equipped with cups, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, Smeg fridge, kettle and a Nespresso machine. We stayed a Saturday night and we could hear the beat and feel the vibrations of the nearby club that must be within the same building. It didn't stop us sleeping and would definitely stay again. A few simple fixes could've made a huge difference

"Really, it's a 3.5/5 Bed comfy. Breakfast great, as was the server. Room (112) had a stain on the ceiling. Half the light switches did nothing. Room far too dark. The whole system is batty, pop some labels or explanations up. Bathroom sink was blocked. Bathroom door handle very difficult to use, stiff, slippery & worn. All of these are simple, minor glitches but indicative of poor attention to detail. Don't charge high prices and position yourself as premium if you don't hold yourself to high standards. Pretty disappointing, felt a bit contemptuous TBH."
