"From an easy check-in to departure, all of the staff were so friendly, helpful and efficient during our visit. Such an amazing place to stay; steeped in history, paintings and such wonderful exhibits of horse racing history. A special thank you to Bruno … we visited the Bar and alongside great drinks, he shared his extensive knowledge with regards to the incredible paintings and history of the remarkable exhibits. Our room was very comfortable and clean, as was the bed. Breakfast was delicious. Car parking facilities superb. Brilliant location. Needless to say we cannot wait to return."

"Absolutely fabulous stay. The lovely staff and the grandeur of the hotel made this an exceptional experience. We used the hotel as a base for a very quiet wedding at the local registry office. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very special and nothing was too much for the friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure our every wish was catered for. The room was delightful, furnished in keeping with the hotel. It was very comfortable and we felt at home immediately. The hotel offered a lovely menu with plenty of options which would cater for most palettes. The service was exceptional , with special requests catered for to suit all. The grounds were beautiful and enchanting offering the very best of splendour surrounded by the tranquillity of nature. We had access to a heated pool and enjoyed leisurely swims to suit our timetable. I would highly recommend this hotel for those wishing for some peace and serenity in a picturesque setting. It offered a sense of escapism and made me feel like the protagonist in a wonderful romance novel. Definitely suitable for a special occasion, weddings , anniversaries ect. The hotel is child and dog friendly, which in our view added to the friendliness and character bringing the hotel to life.
