A charming, beamed, English Pub with a pretty good restaurant but with the added benefit of being able to walk into town. "We have been to The Cotswolds many times, but this is the first time staying at the Prince of Burford. We were made very welcome from the beginning and was even offered a complimentary drink on arrival, which you don’t get in all hotels. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. "We stayed as a relatively young couple for our first trip to the Cotswolds. The inn was lovely and cosy, particularly with the fire in the pub area of the inn. "This was our 9th time here, as a group of fellow motorcyclists, this place is a Central meeting place for all of us. The Dog house could do with a lick of paint, but it is clean. Good selection of drinks, decent meals and a good breakfast. "

"This was the perfect little cottage for us. It had what we needed and we were very comfortable. It’s was very walkable and had a bus nearby. People were very friendly. If we were to return to the area, we would look to stay here."

"From the moment we arrived at The Store, we were impressed by the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, making us feel welcome and well cared for. Our room was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a bed that was exceptionally comfortable. During our stay, we had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, and we also ordered room service. Both experiences were top-notch, with delicious food and impeccable service. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our meals. Do not miss the chicken pie! The hotel’s location is ideal, right in the heart of the city center. It's the perfect base for exploring all that the area has to offer, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short walk away. My daughter was starting a study abroad program and we were able to find everything she needed to get started. Overall, The Store provided a luxurious and relaxing experience; we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! I will definitely plan on staying here again next time I visit. "
