"Excellent location in front of lake. Richard was very pleasant, welcoming and made sure our stay was the best ever. Superb breakfast and personalized service. "What a beautiful and homey place to stay while in Interlaken. It was steps away from a grocery store and the train station but also very walkable to the river and restaurants. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!"

"This property is modern in facility considering its a cabin style lodging which skiers and snow fanatics will appreciate. The location is in Grindewald close to the Terminal station. "I would have give 5 stars, but the only downside is that you should have a car to reach the property, otherwise you have to walk up a steep hill to reach from the closest bus stop or a dining place which could be challenge for seniors"

On our trip to Switzerland, our hostess in Interlaken told us to take our Mum to Hotel Giessbach for a meal. She told us that it is situated above Lake Brienz and can be reached via train. We had never been to any such place before so we thought it would be great idea.
.

By the time it was lunch time, Mum was tired and wasnt very keen to travel further. So we had some awesome Chinese food at a nearby restaurant and dropped her back to our B&B.
.
In the evening, my brother and I went on a cruise on Lake Brienz. And while on the cruise, we crossed this super gorgeous Giessbach waterfall which tumbles into Lake Brienz. Above the falls was the hotel where we had planned to go earlier.
.
That color of water and those trees surely had me.

Perfect apartment A***

"Absolutely amazing apartment. Everything you could need. Very close to the station and supermarket which is ideal. The host was very helpful and was happy to answer text messages during our day. To wake up and look out over the lake and see the snow top mountains was priceless.. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"The hotel and general area was very peaceful. The hospitality was great, and the staff made us feel right at home. The view from the hotel is amazing, being close to both the mountains and the lake. It was also very convenient to drive to beautiful cities, such as Bern, Thun, the local Brienz, and Grindelwald is also not too far. Certainly has a more cottage vibe, but it adds to the experience. Would 10/10 recommend for an authentic Swiss experience."

Lovely property.

"We had a fantastic stay at this property in Brienz. Our 2 teens had the top floor to themselves, which they loved!! We all enjoyed the pool esp the youngest of our group who used it every day. Lovely quiet area with superb views, and easy access to Interlaken for daily outings. Highly recommend. "

"Very nice and clean property right on the lake. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station which is convenient. When I was there there were a lot of families with young children and not a lot of young adults so it was not a very social hostel as a solo traveller, I do not know if it is always like this. "
