"I booked 8 months out a single room for a solo trip! Cute room, but was a little bummed about a twin bed and room with a partial view from under the roof; but all was good. The main view from the hotel lobby/restraunt made up for it! No shuttle to the hotel so had to get a cab because I didn’t get a bus card until I checked in. "The hotel and general area was very peaceful. The hospitality was great, and the staff made us feel right at home. The view from the hotel is amazing, being close to both the mountains and the lake. It was also very convenient to drive to beautiful cities, such as Bern, Thun, the local Brienz, and Grindelwald is also not too far. Certainly has a more cottage vibe, but it adds to the experience.
