"This is a beautiful hotel with some lovely restaurants (albeit expensive) in a very nice area. Walking distance around 15 minutes to the main area of the city. Staff at the front desk were helpful but the checkin person was slightly abrupt/not very smiley! The room was very nice only downsides were the TV had only a few English channels and these were news, the options to use your own TV accounts were helpful but the connection was really slow and programs kept buffering which was frustrating....

"I did not like the steps up to the landing where the lift was, which are difficult for my wife, who uses a Rollator, to negotiate. I was pleased about the breakfast and in particular being told that the cappuccino and espresso coffee that my wife and I are so used to at home are also on offer."

"From the minute, I arrived, the staff were very engaged, helpful and supportive. The taxi driver would not take a credit card for payment, which has never happened to me in Germany and the concierge didn’t miss a beat and just went out and paid for it so I could get settled into my room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the people, the location in the overall layout of the hotel. "
