"Greatest stay I’ve have ever had in any hotel. All around people in Colombia so friendly.The entire staff was great from start to finish. Rafael the pool attendant, helpful, friendly, and respectful. The wait staff Sergio was awesome! Security at the front of the hotel also great. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Very affordable. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby felt safe, we did lots of walking. 3 ladies traveling alone and that meant alot. I recommend anyone staying in Cartagena stay at the intercontinental! 5 stars all the way! Can’t wait to come back, sad to be leaving. "

"We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it. We were mostly impressed with the staff, especially Daniel, during our stay. He was incredibly attentative. I think it is worth staying overnight here rather than a day trip, as when the day trippers leave it is very tranquil. If you do not like birds, we would not recommend, but I found the frigate birds incredible to see up close! We took a short trip to the main island and Daniel gave us a tour of the local villages - this was also a great experience. A great place to really switch off and relax."

"Holiday express is a great brand. Everything you need was close at hand. Staff was very polite and helpful. I hit the restaurant downstairs and upstairs same menu everywhere even for room service. The food was not that great though."

"We throughly enjoyed our stay. Beaches are nice. Food is good and staff are friendly. This is a place to just come and chill out. Snorkeling at the mini beaches is pretty dull but you can take mini boats for a small fee out 10 Minutes and see incredible coral and fish. We would totally come back here!"

"Highly recommend staying at Bora Bora!! It was me and my partners first time in Colombia, and I chose for us to stay at Bora Bora for a few days! The beach club is beautiful! Everyone was very attentive and made sure me and my partner wanted for nothing! Special shout out to Fernando and Camilo! They made us feel so special! And Jorge he is the manager- he also made us feel special! He helped arrange transportation to and from the island! And made the checkout process so smooth! You definitely need to book Bora Bora when you visit Cartagena!"
