"I ended up staying at the actual oz hotel instead of the luxury. The luxury property was considered old and they said that there was an extension of rooms at the Oz hotel for a bigger room. I was expecting something small so I was pleasantly surprised. The area is walkable, you won't need Uber or a taxi for general needs with things being a 5 minute walk. If you need money, ATM nearby had a max withdrawal amount of 2 mill, and great restaurants nearby. I never got to eat at the restaurant on site, but the hotel breakfast was fairly decent. Guest policy is fair, this hotel was better than expected."

"Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Location is great. Pool has plenty of seating and beach access was a plus. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance."

He and his team were very attentive to our needs and made us feel as though we had the pool all to ourselves. Also, all of the drivers provided exceptional service as did the breakfast staff. The concierge’s were always on top of everything providing a worry-free experience, we thank them all. Hotel Sofitel Baru is a hidden gem that we definitely plan to return!"
