"We rarely stay in pubs (particularly not on a Saturday night). This venue was exceptional, had clearly been refurbished recently (smell of fresh paint). Good to see locals in the bar, who welcomed us ahead of hotel staff. Room was clean and well appointed. We ate in restaurant in evening - food and service were both excellent (although portion size was HUGE !!!). Breakfast good in morning."

The woman next to me did not have a code for her room and struggled to reach anyone at ~9pm, so, if you’re reading this, make sure you have your code ahead of time. The rooms are small and quaint.
