"We wanted a place that was cheap and close to areas in Osaka that we wanted to explore. The location was only a 3-5 minute walk to Hanazonocho station so exploring Osaka was a breeze, this also made lugging around our luggage not the worst experience. "Everything was great. Shower had a traditional japanese bath and shower setup with a sink just outside to wash in the morning. Several nearby shops for dinner and breakfast and the Tengachaya station is about 10 minute walk and can get you to the Namba area in maybe 20 mins. There are 4 futon beds and a couch on the first floor. The stairs up are about half my foot size so watch out when walking downstairs, and if you're 6ft also on the way up because i hit my head on the ceiling once haha....

"Hello. I was able to extend my stay by two weeks but I had to contact the management company directly. The people were nice and the process was relatively painless. To do this through Expedia would’ve been more troublesome, I think. The part about GGH that I did not like was when the cleaning staff would come in a clean things up. "I would not recommend this place, since there is no personnel at the hotel to manage the guests. We were there for one night and we got woke up a few times buy people yelling in the accomodation We were in room 101 which is next to the living room/kitchen and the entry, probably the worst room. I had to get up and tell some guest to stop yelling at each other. We were woken up by people at midnight, 2am , 4 am and 7am. People were rude and were not respecting any rules from the managers....
