"Beautiful little cottage in a gorgeous location. Was only a short stay for us as we had come up to see family, but we’ll come again for a longer stay and do some walking.Alex - the owner - was fab with comms and answered all our questions.Lovely and clean, had everything we needed. Even milk and a welcome pack of choccy biccies, thank you Alex!Towels provided as well."

"We had a really enjoyable stay at Woodpecker Cottage. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and 60th anniversary, there was plenty of room for all 13 family members inside the property and we enjoyed the outside space using all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms/bedding/towels all lovely and clean. We would recommend a stay at this property."

"We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

When I asked Rachel if there was a coffee maker or French press in the home she said no and then messaged me that she’d gone out to get one for our stay. How lovely is that!? She left us a couple of treats as well. The cottage was cozy and quiet and had everything we needed for our winter retreat. "We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. "Barnacres cottages - was a really lovely place for a family gathering, so comfortable, really well kitted out and fab garden area for bbq, fire pit evenings. The tennis court was a real bonus for family fun. Lived it and would recommend highly."

"We went to stay with friends for a couple of nights to catch up and see more friends nearby. We had a wonderful time. Amy made us feel really welcome through her messages in advance and we really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies she had left for us. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and everything we needed. The log fired hot tub was a real treat and we barely left the cottage the whole time, except to walk round the locks and back. "Our overall stay was lovely. The ‘cottage’ was as described however the small ‘garden area’ was over run with vegetation/weeds and was unfortunately unkempt. The property manager was very nice and almost immediately advised I had left my iPad which she organised its return without delay! Fantastic!"
