"I was hesitant after reading some of the previous complaints, but booked The Cove on a whim. I absolutely LOVED my stay. It was in a quite, safe neighborhood and we were able to walk anywhere that we needed to go! The view of the beach across the street was wonderful and we loved that we could open the windows and catch the ocean breeze. "Rooms were spacious and clean. Being right on the ocean was great. Lot's of food options in the area and during the peak season they have a full bar onsite. Would be nice to stroll down the street with a local brew but this is Massachusetts and they dont allow it. You can burn a fatty but not drink a beer. SMH"

"Janet the owner was the the sweetest thing ever and consistently helpful with things like directions, recommendations, etc often before I even had to ask! The cottage has the tiny house feel and is perfectly located for all adventures to surrounding areas. We did Boston, Salem, Gloucester, Berlin, Rockport, Woodstock.
