"We went for a quick getaway, and are already planning a longer trip back with our kids. The staff were so helpful (we forgot all our toiletries) and the setting was gorgeous. It’s a lodge in a national park, not a luxury retreat in Aspen, so accommodations fit the setting, but all in all we were really happy. The only ding is that the mattress wasn’t *great* but we were fine. "

"We love the Airlie however there is one serious need. Every room is entirely hardwood flooring and no carpets, rugs, or throw rugs of any kind. If it rains then water gets everywhere and theres nowhere to put your shoes. Puddles everywhere. If there's snow like it did this week then there are puddles from your luggage, puddles from your shoes, and wet socks."

"Gorgeous room. Everything was immaculate and perfect. And it was quieter than I expected. There was an event the day we were there, and really couldn't hear anything but distant music. Lovely. "

"It is so cute. We stayed in the Rapidan. It was lovely but the bathroom could use some updating. The exterior needs help which is sad because it is both historical and charming. Hopefully they will get an investor to help and make it into a wedding venue to bring in additional money. The staff is beyond helpful and nice. We would stay there again. "

"Upon arrival we enjoyed a wonderful greeting and tour from Hayden. The property was everything we were looking for in a getaway stay. All of the staff throughout our stay made us feel very welcome. The dining experience was fantastic. I'm not sure I will ever order duck again unless Chef Dane is in the kitchen and the dining staff for the evening made sure we were taken care of. Thanks again to Michelle for the breakfast prior to our departure. We cant wait to come back !!!"

"We had a wonderful time at Jen & John’s cottage! It was so peaceful and relaxing and they are wonderful hosts. They gave us a tour of their farm property and let us feed and play with their farm animals. We got to hear all about them and that was such a treat! They have a little cute market with so many locally sourced goodies. The property is secluded but also near several breweries/wineries which were fun! Jen wa super nice and knowledgeable and gave us a map of all of the nearby places. We...
