"This hotel has all the basic amenities any traveler would need for quick visit to San Jose. They have free shuttle service to and from San Jose International Airport which is very convenient. There's a 24hr Denny's restaurant next door which was such a welcome surprise since we arrived past midnight and were hungry. Nice breakfast offering in the hotel. Clean and spacious rooms."

"Hotel is obviously set up for single night airport guests. It is very close to airport and a few restaurants but rooms are small, beds are small and hard. No mini fridge Pool was open but had construction around it. Did not try the breakfast "

"Elizabeth and Daniel went above and beyond to ensure that our time with them was safe and convienient. Despite the fact that our plane was delayed multiple times and we ended up coming in at a VERY unhappy hour, they gave us a shuttle from the airport, which is quite close, and also provided a breakfast in advance of our early departure. A solid place run by real people who are generous and sincere. Our thanks, Elizabeth and Daniel!"

"The owner lady is super nice. I was nervous about leaving the rental car in the airport as suggested by the rental company. She advised to return the rental car previous evening as I had an early morning flight next day and arranged a regular taxi guy for free who showed up on time and dropped us off at the airport! The bonus is all the rental car companies including mine is in the same street. The only issue is the traffic."

"The millenium is a great place to stay. It is very close to the airport, the service was excellent, and the price is fantastic. The complimemtary breakfast is very delicious. The airport noise is not as bad a others say on here. You are near the airport so noise is expected. The staff will take good care of you."

"Bad Location, small, only 5 rooms, nothing near by, hard to find, the cab driver had a hard time finding it, No A/C, Bugs, no screens, old tube type TV, Only furniture in the room was the Bed, bathroom is down the public hallway, 15 min from airport, I arrived 90 min before check in time and I was the only one staying in the hotel all the rooms were ready but they made me sit in the court yard for 90 min before letting me in my room, not terrible but not good, good price."

"Bare bones, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was bottled water in the room and a hot shower (which in Costa Rica is not always a given). I was pleased, too, that they did come pick me up at the airport even though my plane arrived after stated shuttle hours. "

Wyndham San Jose Herradura Hotel & Convention Center

"I loved staying at this hotel. The grounds and plantings are gorgeous, the pools feel totally luxurious and all the public spaces feel spacious, clean and elegant. They offer free airport transfers and one can pick up and drop off a rental car right at the hotel, how convenient is that.!!! My room was just fine. I had requested a refrigerator and got one. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious, and I thought great for the price. My granddaughters loved the pools. I plan on staying here again when i have to leave Costa Rica by air. The only complaint is the restaurant ran out of red wine, and 2 of the dishes i wanted to order. The cleaning staff for my room were exceptionally gracious, friendly and kind. I also had a dental problem while i was there and was able to walk to the “Dental Smile Center”, which did a great job helping me. It is also walking distance to a fresh market grocery store, and it was easy to get to downtown San Jose via uber. Yes the hotel is older, but that’s why the plantings are so nice. They even have a garden with a mango tree. The gym is one of the best equipped i have run into in a hotel. So 5 stars"

"Staff were very responsive to our needs. We couldn't access Netflix because the TV wouldn't connect to the Internet so they replaced the TV for us."
