"This guest house is very simple. It has a beautiful stair case and no elevator. It's central location in the city is excellent, but obviously there can be noisy people in the streets and city noise. There are several coffee and breakfast places within a 5 minute walk. The beds were more comfortable than usual. The shower had hot water. For the price I paid, I was satisfied."

We did have a problem with the ac for most of our 5 night stay and one day had no hot water but it was fixed as quick as possible and the staff were very apologetic. "I can’t write enough superlatives to do this hotel justice! It’s immaculately presented and the staff can’t do enough to help you. The room was the best we’ve stayed in. The location is perfect as it’s right in the centre of Porto but even being in a city-facing room, closing the balcony doors was enough to block out any noise. Breakfast was made to order and very tasty. We hope to return to Porto and when we do we will certainly be staying here again."
