"Staff very helpful and friendly. Room (Queen bed on 4th floor) was clean and well presented with an excellent shower. However, Room needed some brighter lighting, preferably ceiling light and a chair for the foldaway desk. Arms on the bed could do with a good scrub / replace and no coffee or tea, despite a kettle in the room? If you leave the hotel and turn left towards up the hill you’ll find shops, bars and restaurants leading down the high street which is pedestrianised (Rua de Santa Catarina). However, if you turn right out if the hotel you get a fair amount of homeless people and street drinking esp under the nearby flyover roads. "

"Property is great, rooftop with heated pool was the highlight. A bit outside the old city but still plenty walkable to local restaurants and main tourist area (down hill). Hotel food was also delicious but a bit pricey comparative to local options. Staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. "

"Super clean and smart. Great central location. Cafes, bars, restaurants abound . Plenty of sights to see conveniently from hotel as base. Staff very helpful in giving advice. Part of Porto is presence of homeless rough sleepers. Much of Porto is dilapidated so there is lits of building work."
