"This is my second time going to this resort, the food was excellent and staff were so kind and helpful. The resort was always clean and tidy. We stayed in building #1 by the beach, being so close to the beach was wonderful. Lots to do with our little ones (5 & 3), go to the beach, swim, go to the play ground etc. Everyone was so kind to our little ones. "we have stayed at this property for three years now. I feel like the pros outweigh the cons overall. The pros are it is close to the beach, it is clean. The staff is friendly and considering it’s all inclusive it’s relatively affordable. It is not a five star luxury resort by any means and we don’t always love the dinner options but breakfast and lunch are good. "I thought the rooms were well kept, the mattress were brand new and very comfortable. There are no appliances in the room like coffee maker etc. They told me they would bring it up but it never came a little disappointing. The housekeeping was amazing the girls should be very proud of her work. The pool was the center piece for me perfect temperature, The maintenance should wash down the lawn chairs in the morning to clean the bird cramp off the lawn chairs that should be done automatically. "Our rooms were not ready when we arrived. Room 1 the shower was slow draining & we had no handle on our hot water nozzle. We were told to use our fingers to turn it on & off. One of the pillow cases looked like it had puss stains on it, so gross. Room 2 had had cigarette holes through the sheets & covering. Both bathrooms toilets looked like they had urine in them, but it was the color of the water. DO NOT recommend this location. "

"Although this bungalow is set up for short stays, we were there for 3 weeks. Beautiful Guayabitos beach is accessible across the street. It is situated between Guayabitos Centro and La Penita with a short walk to each. The bungalow was comfortable, clean and had the basic necessities. The hosts , Enrique and family were super accommodating and a pleasure to meet. We would definitely return. "
