"The food and service at this resort are absolutely amazing. We didn’t eat a single thing we didn’t like. I read reviews about the beach being a long walk away and was concerned about that but it’s not a long walk at all. If you can’t make the short walk they do have a shuttle but I found it to be a very pretty pleasant 3 minute walk. Highly recommend this resort. The large spacious rooms are incredible as well. "

"We stayed at this property for 2 weeks and I didn’t expect it to be so good! Check in went very smoothly. There is a special check in for Expedia customers. You can go there any time throughout your stay and grab coffee wine champagne or snacks throughout the day. Jose at the buffet was awesome. Food was good buffet was as good as the a la cartes We received a free upgrade to 10th floor ocean view. Loved our room. Cleaning staff was excellent and even provided turn down service. The location of this resort is right across the yellow brick road that leads to Bucerias. Beautiful path and easy walk into town and fast. The pools are clean and poolside service was excellent The really only downside was we were never able to get a chair at the adults only pool. Lots of saved chairs very early in the morning and not necessarily filled until late morning. Would recommend this resort "

"The resort is a bit dated but makes up for it by its amazing staff who provide excellent service in every area of the resort. The crew at the front are ready to welcome you and if you need a taxi they are on it so fast its great! The housekeeping staff are meticulous and keep every area, especially the rooms, so clean. The staff at the restaurants are fantastic and the chefs are outstanding. We did 2 nights at Cucina, Panema and Zen; Cucina and Panema were just amazing each time. We had issues at Zen 1/2 nights but would suggest going for the first seating as it seemed with the later seating the service and food suffered a bit due to business. We only had one night at Frida but only because we had to choose haha; it was still so good and highly recommend the guac ! Out of 8 days we only had one bad meal! Dont miss the poolside burgers, as we did for most of the week only to discover how bomb they were on the last day lol!! The pool servers were amazing and so friendly, ensuring you are always well hydrated. We just loved our usual server he was amazing!! The only thing I would say is the pool is heated which is really great, especially for littles, but it was a little too hot. It would be nice to turn down the temperature just a tad or have one pool thats cooler. My last all-inclusive was a Royalton in DR and it was a lot more expensive and absolutely terrible so thank you Hard Rock Vallarta for showing what an awesome all inclusive trip really is!! "Property grounds are beautiful. The pools are cleaned and well kept. The staff work really hard and are always smiling and greeting you, available to answer any questions. Rooms are standard, maybe a bit dated, but clean and everything is in working order."

"Newness, Hotel is only 8 months old. Excellent roof top pools and hot tubs. Ocean beach is a 15 minute walk. A shopping mall is a 15 minute walk. Excellent restaurants close by."
