"Love the layout of the house with front, back and upstairs porches plus fire pit in backyard . Beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was very clean and neat. There many board games present in the living room. Our only disappointment was the recliner and couch needs replaced."

"this place was out in the middle of nowhere but was amazing. It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. "Our 5 day stay in the Vandalia cabin was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were looking for seclusion and relaxation for our Anniversary. Well we got exactly that during our stay. We couldn’t get enough of the views from the back porch or from the picturesque hicking trails. Pervis was a great host and was super responsive to any and all of our questions. We can not wait to go back to the wild and wonderful state of West Virgina and the Vandalia cabin. Till next time. "

"This was for our 10th anniversary..great area..nice and quiet..everything in the listing is right on..no surprises..we stayed 3 nights and 4 days..all the stores and shopping are about a 20 minute drive but it was fine.. we bbq and listened to tmusic..it was great..i would recommend this..absolutely.. . Will be staying again in the future.."

"We absolutely loved the location of the Cabin it was in between all the areas we wanted to visit and close to everything! Making up with deer in the yard was amazing! The hot tub at sunset was our favorite! Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

The property has the cabin feel perfectly situated in the small friendly town, between Summersville and Cass, one direction falls, glades, Cass Scenic Railroad, and Snowshoe. In the other direction Rail Express, and Adventures on the Gorge. So many small friendly towns and trails to walk."

"This property is perfectly located in downtown Lewisburg. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the easy walking access to the downtown shops and restaurants. The French Goat restaurant is right across the street (get reservations in advance). Lost World Caverns and The Greenbrier are also a short drive from this property. "This is the fourth time staying here and each time is amazing! Check in and check out is a breeze and done via email or text. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable, and the property is close to everything downtown with a short walk. The shops are awesome and the Asylum next door has great food and drinks! Most places are closed downtown on Sundays or have short hours, but there is still a lot to do. The Lost World Caverns and the Hawk Knob are a 10 minute drive away! 10/10 recommend...
