It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. "The house was about 20-30 minutes from most of the hikes in New River Gorge. The house was clean and more than sufficient for the two of us. We had a great stay!"

"The song Country Road is the perfect backdrop while driving down the scenic route to Boulder Trail Getaway. The house is wayyyy back off the main road but the tranquility of the deep woods is incredible. The house is very comfortable and (5) women had plenty of room to move around. The hot tub and great fire pit kept everyone entertained. The kitchen was well supplied with pots/pans and small appliances that made making meals easy. Nice gas grill too! Great vacation home."

"The property was very clean and well-maintained. Make sure you have everything you need as it is out in the country. It is quiet and not too close to people. The rental has almost everything you need to relax and enjoy your visit. It was everything we expected. "

"We stay in the area regularly to visit family and we would definitely stay in this house again. The location was convenient for our needs. There were plenty of things to do at the house to keep everyone happy, even in January! One thing to note since I didn’t notice when booking, there aren’t tv’s in the bedrooms. The projector and couch in the basement was the preferred hangout space for our teens."
