"Sewerage smell in the bathroom was so bad you could not be in there. Worst is they knew about it. When I arrived late the room door was left open and so was the window. I went out not realising how bad it was. It was too late to move anyway. In the morning the owner lies about not knowing about it but mysteriously already knew the room number even though he wasn't working reception. The place is a dump. It's disappointing to find this sort of establishment can advertise on hotels.com"

"A small town dated accommodation throughout this experience. The newest part is the gym where there are only 5 pieces of equipment with one broken during our 10-day stay. We do like old school hotels when traveling in Europe. However at Notarie, it simply needs a facelift with current style of mamagement. WiFi needs to up the game. First off, that old tapestry odor in the room needs to be eliminated. The dusts at the bathroom ceiling vent (415) needs to be removed. Toilet bowl waterstains...

"The best part about this hotel were the staff members. From housekeeping to the front desk, they were accommodating, helpful, kind, and pleasant. They helped us out of several transportation jams that we found ourselves in. We wouldn’t have made it to our events or back to the train station without their help which they offered freely."

"The people were very kind and helpful. There is little to no English but they used a translator app to communicate. The room is very basic with no extras, hair dryer, hot water pot, cups etc. However, it was clean, bed was comfortable and the cost is very good value. The place is in a local area which is still close to the city center (10 minute walk) where more action is for tourist. The breakfast has lots of pastries and drinks made to order. This is a nice way to start each day. "
