Coral bay is a nice peaceful retreat away from the noise of Cruz Bay! Don’t forget your jeep rental. It was a honeymoon we won’t ever forget! "

"A very special place. Amazing property with a view like no other. We stayed in papaya (hot tub on the roof). The place is well equipped and absolutely perfect, they even had beach chairs and a cooler to borrow. I can’t imagine staying at any other place in St John."

"First, the views are amazing. Rising with sun or laying down at night is a complete sensory experience when you are outside. The roosters crowing in the morning or the frogs singing to the moon complement what is perfect tropical island vista. The inside of the house is comfortable, clean, and has all the household items you need when traveling this far away. The laundry machines helped make sure the family could pack light. Gated entrance completes the feel of returning to an oasis. Family is already asking when we can go back to Casa YaYa!"

"We’ve been visiting the US Virgin Islands for 15ish years, splitting time on St. John and St Thomas. This place was equipped the best for our needs (cooking, games, pool, beach coolers/chairs, location to beaches) and just overall compared to other stays. We had two miner (towards the end) issues that were taken care of immediately by the property management team. Even had one of the owners reach out with an apology for any inconvenience. I guess the only negative (by slim margins) is the drive/distance from Cruz Bay. The grocery store wasn’t as nice on this end of the island and the restaurants were sparse. Over all, great place, views, well equipped, spacious yet private when needed! A+"

"Alta Vista is an amazing property atop Bordeaux Mountain with views of Coral Bay and the BVI. Even after the island’s brush with the storm Ernesto, the property was clean and ready for visitors. The drive up the mountain is well worth the drive and the anxiety from such narrow lanes. "

"We had fantastic time at the property and are very glad we stayed with Kimberley. The property is as described and we had everything we needed. The kitchen and living are at the upper floor connected to the patio and the pool. The views from the upper floor are absolutely fabulous. One cannot get enough. We took dozen of pictures from the patio: sunrise, day, sunset and night views. The kitchen is well equipped, nothing was missing. There are also some basic “supplies” available: salt, spices, etc. It has a standard (large) fridge with freezer. The living room is very pleasant and cozy. We used the bbq regularly. Two bedrooms on the lower floor are equipped with AC, one is smallish, the other of generous size. We did not mind much since we did not spend much time there. You mostly live outside. Small garden around the house is nice. We very much appreciated that Kim provided us with beach chairs and coolers. There is a small grocery store at the foot of the hill on the way to the property. It looks shabby at first glance but learned to like it. In previous reviews guests mentioned the approach to the house. I dismissed them as “those city drivers”. I apologize guys, you were right, it is quite a rough, gravel and rock, drive. It is manageable, but one definitely needs an off-road car. Kim is a great host, she responded to our request promptly and was very helpful throughout the stay. Thanks a mil."
