"We absolutely adored our stay at the Peter Bay Gatehouse, Penthouse! It was one of the best places we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location was simply stunning, with easy access to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. The view from the penthouse was breathtaking, and we never wanted to leave because of its breathtaking beauty. We’re already looking forward to our next stay here in the future!"

"The rooms was functional with a nice balcony overlooking a small harbor. Unfortunately our yaxi van was too large to get up the winding driveway so we had to drag our bag up a steep hill. Also a busy and noisy road was right beside the hotel and our room. "

"The “treehouses” need proper protection against rodents and bugs. All screens were compromised simply by not having a stronger covering such as chicken wire covering the screen. The staff were friendly but not forthcoming so far as the conditions of the property. The restaurant is NOT fully open. They offer chicken or a burger. Do not stay here if you do not like rodents in your bed. In my opinion they need to post pictures of upgraded rodent and bug prevention. That will probably never happen due to the lack of labor available on the island."

Casa YaYa boasts stunning views, indoor/outdoor living and the perfect location!

Paradise!

"This property has million-dollar views. They are breathtaking. We were pinching ourselves every time we took in the scenery. The villa itself is comfortable and cozy with all supplies/equip needed for the kitchen, including spices. The bedrooms are beautiful and cozy and the a/c was so nice. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer. The showers are semi-outdoors; they have 4 walls but the top half above head is open air yet covered with roof. Showers were amazing with the tradewinds blowing in! We made friends with a cute lizard who lives on one of the shower lights:) It was a very quiet location and we loved waking up for magnificent sunrises every morning while listening to the roosters, goats, and donkeys! The pool was perfect and my son loved swimming every evening. The flora and fauna along the driveway and backyard are beautiful and we watched hummingbirds every day. We love the Coral Bay side of the island as it is more laid-back and quiet but just a 15-20 min drive to North Shore beaches and 20-25 to Cruz Bay (beautiful drive too!). As others have said, the road and driveway are a little precarious at first, but do it once and it’s easy! Communication with the hosts was flawless and we were even allowed graciously to check in early, as the previous people had checked out very early. We really appreciated this! We already miss Casa Yaya!"

An amazing anniversary trip!

"We had the most amazing experience here! The views from the property are unbelievable. The home itself was extremely clean, well maintained, and very organized. We loved that the owners provided us with coolers, beach chairs, floats, and other necessities for the beach. We will definitely be back to this property!!"

Lovely place!

"We loved this place. Quiet, away from crowds and tourists. Hosts were friendly. If you are expecting luxurious accomodations, this is not the place for you. But if you enjoy simple, rustic camping you will love this place! Yurt had real beds so no need to cart all your camping gear to St John's."

Waterlemon Villa~Stunning Island Views, Pool, AC, Great for Groups & Kids

Amazing week on St. John

"Our stay at Waterlemon Villa was better than we could have hoped for. We are so glad we decided to stay in Coral Bay instead of Cruz Bay. The vibe is chill and it wasn't busy or crowded with restaurants and small grocery stores close by. I loved waking up to the sunrise each morning and sitting on the screened in porch each night. The house was clean, not many insects for being in the Caribbean and fit our family of 5 with room to spare. It was so convenient having a washer and dryer, AC at night, stocked kitchen, pool floats, and beach chairs. Our family was looking for an adventure and we found it. We loved Hansen Bay, Salt Pond Bay and Cinnamon Bay. Snorkeled with sea turtles, baby nurse sharks, stingrays, jelly fish and all different kinds of tropical fish. We also hiked the Reef Bay Trial and Ram Head. I would definitely recommend the Full-Day Lime Out Snorkel Taco Lunch & Open Bar - Westin as they took us snorkeling at places you can't reach by land and that was when we were able to see the most coral and diverse amount of ocean life. "

"Our host, Jim, was the best. Super helpful and knowledgeable about all things St John.Responded quickly and thoroughly to our inquiries prior to and during our stay and went out of his way to make our stay memorable.The property itself is wonderful. Well equipped, clean, and great location. Amazing view, especially the beautiful sunrise. We really enjoyed the outdoor living space, such a great place for morning coffee or reading in the evening on the comfortable outdoor sectional. We would highly recommend this property."

Amazing view!

"Kim was an outstanding host and very knowledgeable about St John. She checked in on us and answered every question we had almost immediately. The house was great from top to bottom but the best part was the view. Only the bedrooms have a/c so the main house got a little stuffy in the afternoons/evenings since the bedrooms are only accessible from the outside downstairs. The road to the house is a nightmare, not gonna lie, but we got used to it after a couple of days. You definitely need an suv for ground clearance"
